When I came across this quote I couldn’t help but be reminded of the reasons why I fell in love with my husband. And yet if you were to ask me what they were I couldn’t possibly list them all because his ways are countless.
Gratitude e has a powerful affect on our attitude and can change the dynamics of a marriage for good. The more we give strength to positive thoughts, our negative thoughts lose power.

Here are a few of the things I love about Michael:

The way he rubs my back at night
That he always finds me the minute he walks in the door for a hug and kiss
The way that he is able to read my mood in a split second
The fact that he wanted to buy me some chocolate tonight to perk me up
That he makes me tea when I’m not expecting it
The fact that he gets up early to spend time with the Lord
The way that he speaks to the children so that they listen the first time
His hilarious sense of humor
The way he holds his guitar
The sound of his voice on the phone
His smell
His listening ear
His sound advice
The way he looks in a dress shirt and tie
The way he holds my hand when he’s driving
and my list goes on…
Now it’s your turn. What are some of the tiny things your husband does that remind you why you love him? Would you like to share them with us? If so please do so in the comments. I’d love to hear them!

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18
