It’s Friday! Time for five of my favorites from around the web. I hope you enjoy them!

1. The Summer of One Thing – Joy Forney

Joy writes, “There is so much to pack into one summer. Even in the midst of a busy life, this summer I want to cultivate one thing. This: Intimacy with the Lord. Time spent in His Presence. Taking all the minutes of my day and turning them towards focusing on His Word and using the Word to worship Him.

2. Blessed Beyond Measure – Preparing for the Best Date Ever

Do you remember when you took that much time and effort to prepare for that special someone, the way your heart skipped a beat at the mention of his name and the prospect that you would get to catch a glimpse of him that day? Read more at Blessed Beyond Measure…

When my kids were young I loved bringing an activity pack to church with us. Especially since Nathaniel was so fidgety–still is some days. This DIY tutorial is adorable and so creative. I almost want to make myself a purse like this. 😉
I love it, and I thought you might too!

4. Homemade Febreze – Life. Family. Love

Homemade Febreze for just $0.15 per bottle!

5. Don’t Waste Your Life – John Piper – FREE!

A few weeks ago I gave you a link to a free PDF eBook from John Piper called Momentary Marriage. It’s a book that I’m currently reading and highly recommend. Another book of his that I’m reading is Don’t Waste Your Life. I’m trying to get both books read because they are so good I can’t choose! LOL

Anyway… just after I purchased the eBooks I discovered that many of John Piper’s books are FREE on his website. He offers the PDF version. And as I’ve said before, a PDF can easily be emailed to your Kindle.

Being that I’m a huge John Piper fan, I’m thrilled to offer you a link to the download. It’s definitely one of my favorite “Friday Five” pics!

You are loved by an almighty God,

Darlene
