It’s Friday which means that it’s time for the Friday Five! With that said, I have to admit–and you may have noticed–that I don’t always put together a Friday Five, but I do try.

Do I get bonus points for effort? LOL

This week you’ll find that I’m sharing a few ideas for homemade decorations, some great ways to motivate kids and an incredible flash-mob video.

Most of these I find when I’m surfing Pinterest. If you aren’t following me there, here’s my URL and please leave yours in the comments too I’d love to check out your boards!

1. Rustic Little Ornaments from Elves in the Attic

These babies were made using old book pages. Aren’t they cute? Actually I’ve been seeing old book pages everywhere lately so if you have any, hang onto them!

2. Recycled Book-Page Bird – Under the Table and Dreaming
See what I told you about old book pages? This bird is adorable!
3. Paperback Book Trees – Creative “Try” Als
I was over at my friend’s place the other night and I saw the cutest little Christmas trees on her piano. She said she had made them with old books (yes–books again!) I loved them so much that I searched for an image on Pinterest so I could show them to you and I found a little tutorial at Creative “Try” Als.

They look very easy to  make, they’re handmade, and I love them!

4. 7 Creative Ideas for Kids to Tidy Up Rooms – Club 31 Women
This one might look a little familiar to you–it’s from our Wednesday blogger, Lisa! Lisa shares seven creative ways to get kids to tidy up.
Lisa writes, “after years of wrestling, raging, and other equally ineffective techniques, I began thinking up creative ways to encourage the kids to get the job done. More Mary Poppins, less Cruella Deville. A spoonful of sugar and all that. Now on the chance that I’m not the only mama who finds children’s rooms a challenge? I’m passing along seven of the more successful ideas.”
5. Christmas Flash Mob by Journey of Faith

And finally… this one is sure to bring you to tears. It’s beautiful, and a must-watch to the end.

You are loved by an almighty God,
