Thank you to Davonne Parks for providing us with today’s prayer!
I’ve been busy at the Allume conference and coming down with a cold, but God provided our words. Thank you, Davonne.

Thank you so much for posting this prayer! I loved chatting with you tonight and getting to help out!
Thank you for this prayer. This is something I struggle with because I was raised by a single mother and taught to be strong willed and independent. I know I need to do a better job of following and trusting my husband and I will pray and focus on this today.
Thank you and feel better.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Erin. I’m also a strong willed person so I can empathize!
Dear Lord, Please help Erin to use her strong will for Your glory. Help her to not assert her strong will on her husband as she learns to honor him and follow his lead. Thank you for the heart she has for You. In Jesus name, Amen.
This is a very similar prayer that I find myself having to pray frequently because I am trying so hard to be the wife that God planned for my husband.
Ronda, that’s great! Thanks so much for sharing.
Well I hope you feel better!! Emergen-c, elderberry and zinc will help kill the cold quick! Oh and what an amazing prayer, I definitely struggle with prayer and definitely with letting my husband lead. I am super thankful for this month of prayers.
Thanks for your kind words, Amanda! I agree with you – I love Darlene’s series this month.
Thank you for this prayer ! In the past, before my husband was called by the Lord, I didn’t have respect for his decisions for our life or his personally. Since my husband’s calling, sometimes I’m not sure about my husband’s decisions or choices, and then I remember that in praying for my husband to be the spiritual leader in our marriage, I need to have faith, because I ask in prayer for God’s guidance in my husband to lead us.
Praying for you, Kelli!
