Joseph: A Type of Christ
If you’re looking for a feel-good journey through faith, Joseph isn’t your guy. He takes everything this world teaches us about forgiveness and grace and turns it upside down in this heart-wrenching account of his life.
The story of Joseph is laced with compassion. Like Christ, he was rejected by men and sold for a few pieces of silver, and like Christ, he was willing to forgive those who hurt him the most.
This Bible-Study takes us on a journey through the life of Joseph. As we journal through this study, we’ll examine several instances where Joseph was a type of Christ and where his life paralleled that of the Messiah. Perhaps this study will be one of history for you—a background on the life of Joseph—or perhaps it will serve as a manual on forgiveness and grace that inspires you to grow in Christ-likeness. My hope is that we will all choose the latter of the two.

Faith & Provision
This series is designed to guide you through a 4-week Bible study on the topic of faith and the incomparable provision of God. Each week we’ll examine three faithful men or women who put God first, and allowed Him to move in their lives. As we dig into scripture we’ll focus on four aspects of faith:
- Week 1: Faith is Courageous
- Week 2: Faith Leads to Victory
- Week 3: Faith Glorifies God
- Week 4: Faith Can Move Mountains
Faith is often all of these things working together. It takes courage to step out, it calls us out of our comfort zone, and sometimes to sacrifice. Faith can move mountains, and when it’s exercised well it glorifies God and leads us to victory!

Hebrews: Jesus Christ – Kings, Redeemer, High Priest
This study encourages us to grow, to press on in the face of affliction, and to grab hold of the gospel which we had been taught.
From front to back, it explains Who Christ is, what He’s done, and why He’s better than any earthly high priest.
It’s definitely a good study for those who are looking for a deeper understanding of salvation. It answers important questions, like “Why was it necessary for Christ to die for our sins?” “What is the significance of the Temple veil being torn in two at the moment of His death?” and “Why is there no longer a need sacrifices year after year?”

As we embark on this journey through Ruth, we’ll explore what courageous faith looks like. We’ll see what it means to lay down our lives, and to take up our cross. And then, we’ll uncover a beautiful account of kinsman redemption that points the way to our Kinsman Redeemer.
Our goal is to listen as God speaks through His Word, and to follow as He takes the lead. You may have read through this story before, in fact, you might have studied it deeply. But here’s the thing, there’s something new to be learned each time we open God’s Word.

This study takes us on an exploration through the book of Exodus, chapter by chapter with thought-provoking questions that motivate us to dig deep into scripture and hold fast to our faith.
As we make our way through this study we’ll look at the 10 plagues of Egypt, examine the first Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, we’ll then take a detailed look at the law of Moses and the building of the tabernacle.
The symbolism runs deep as we compare Old Testament scriptures with the New Covenant between Jesus Christ and His church. We see that nothing is left undone. God’s perfect plan for salvation was woven throughout the scriptures like the fine tapestry of a skilled worker.

The book of Esther is a beautiful story of one woman who courageously gave of herself for the will of God and His people.
Throughout the book we see the providence of God as He orchestrates every detail of the story. We see how every aspect is perfectly timed, and how the King’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the scripture says:
“The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” – Proverbs 21:1
Let God shape your character by learning new things. Stretch your mind and open your heart to His Word.

Romans teaches us that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is not one that is righteous apart from our Lord. There’s not one that seeketh God; there’s not one that doeth good. For it is God who seeks and who saves, and it’s only through Him that we find righteousness and peace.
Paul sets the record straight for all who seek to be saved through their own righteousness, by reminding us that we are weak through the flesh.

Galatians isn’t a long book, in fact it’s only six chapters, but it’s a powerful one, as we’re reminded that our righteousness comes through Jesus Christ.
Astonished that they have turned their heads from the truth of the gospel, Paul writes a letter to the church in Galatia both to correct them, and to strengthen them in their faith.

These are the four cardinal virtues covered in this study:
- Prudence – to be alert, cautious, wise
