For those of you who follow my daily housekeeping schedule, I have created a free printable for your fridge or home-maintenance binder. This one is created at 200 dpi so that the image will be a clear and crisp print.
There isn’t enough space on one page to put as detailed a schedule as the original schedule, but this one is good for those who want a quick reference.
Click the image below to view or print a larger version of the image. Enjoy!
P.S. If you like this printable, please share the link with your friends. Thanks!
This letter came in as I was posting the schedule. Awesome!…
I am from a small town in British Columbia. I came across your blog through a mother-to-mother group on facebook. I was reading your blog and I stumbled apon your cleaning routine. At first I was taken back, but the more I read the more it seamed do able.
I just wanted to let you know that your blog has helped me get a hold of my messy house and helped me feel proud of it. It’s by no means perfect but that’s life! I just felt the need to write you and let you know how much I apperciate your words of wisdom. My mother has told me many of the same things, but reading it in your blog sparked something inside me. I just thought I would share this with you.
Blessings
New Mother
You are loved by an almighty God,
Darlene

As a full-time (pregnant) mother of a 2 year-old, I trust you don’t actually think this is a realistic plan for a family like mine…maybe something paired down would be nice… It’s hard enough to battle feelings of inadequacy and being constantly overwhelmed only to see these types of “schedules” and expectations screaming at me from most blogs.
My apologies if there is something further listed – I have about 30 minutes a month to read the 50-some blogs that I follow in my feeder.
I think this is a great list and I plan on using it to challenge myself but also making reasonable changes for it to work with my home and family. Jackie- there is a lot of pressure on moms with little ones to do it all , and it’s hard especially if you are pregnant! Use what you can from the list and make the changes necessary. Someday when my 4 small kids are grown, I would like to imagine my home being this clean 😉
Great idea Leslie. We are all in different seasons of our lives. While one might use it for a deep cleaning schedule, another could use it as a guide to give that room a little more attention on each day. It’s so easily modified.
This is a very nice idea but I think most of us would be overwhelmed just reading it. This doesnt account for the women that work, have children and extended family to support and still have to come home and pick up where they left off in the morning. I think that some of the most perfect looking homes give the impression of being the perfect space however they are often not the homes that exude happiness and real hospitality, they really can be an issue of pride. I know from experience that presenting perfection to those in and out of the home can be overwhelming, so much so that it takes away from family time and the enjoyment of being hospitable. A relaxed home where everyone can be comfortable is much more interactive and enjoyable place to visit and I am not suggesting that you live like a pig but OCD is a problem too. Involve the family in the chores, we are a family and everyone contributes to the care of the home even if their efforts are not perfect, otherwise you breed children who have expectations to be waited on hand and foot. Lets be careful to not be too like Martha, Jesus was more impressed by Marys attentive heart. Maybe at the start of each of your daily routines you should include have you spent time with Jesus yet, and if not forget the housework until you have.
Aw, this was a really good post. Finding the time and actual effort to produce a very good article… but what can I say…
I procrastinate a lot and never seem to get anything done.
Thank you for your list! I am a mom of 4 kids, I run a daycare, I have my own business, and I am very active in our church’s charity projects. It’s great to have a simple chore list that helps to keep me and my family organized. We all work together and it all gets done so quickly by focusing on one area a day. I love seeing a clear counter and tidy beds. My husband has built shelves in many places so we have a place for everything and it makes the tidying so easy for even the littlest ones. Thanks again! Great post!
Thank you so much for posting this! I was looking for an organized schedule to follow weekly and this is perfect. I didn’t want to leave anything out and this about covers it. I like the idea of bunching things together in the junk drawer. I have some work to do but I think after a few weeks, things will run a lot smoother. Thank you!
I love this schedule! I have been using it for over a year and it’s very doable. I have three little girls 4 and under and I’m currently pregnant so Yes anyone can handle this. My girls help me out and at most it takes 45 min. to an hour to complete. We also have a minimalist home, in other words not a lot of junk lying around and limited toys so cleaning is a breeze.
I sorta kinda could whip this out in a day well maybe!
HI there,
I am trying to open to print, but I am getting a error 🙁 I am doing on my computer
Thank you
Sorry the link needs to be fixed. I’ll see if I can do that right away.
I just fixed the links. Sorry about that!
Thanks for the post! I am a working mom and wife and caregiver so even though I cannot devote my time during the day, I have decided to challenge my family with the list so that we can each take a day or an area and incorporate this schedule into our lives so that everything gets done on a more consistent basis. Thank you for the jumpstart and some sense of “We can get it done without feeling like a whole lot of work”.
Hi I recently found your article is very good truly, I felt motivated to change things in my house and I want to thank you for that. I have a little girl and I know she will learn from my example.
But my happiness is incomplete because I can not access the schedules to print… 🙁 can you help me please.
I’m so sorry. I fixed the link, and here is the direct link to the printable: https://timewarpwife.com/elements/CleaningSchedule.pdf
I’m on my phone, so I can’t tell for sure. When on the computer, will I have the option to edit the text in order to make my own cleaning schedule, but with your outline? I used to use this one (but it looked a littler different?), but then we moved and I’ve never found it since’
I have a few printables. Maybe that’s what you’re referring to? If I find the links, I’ll post them here.
