And for all of you (bloggers or otherwise) I wondered if I might ask a favour of you? Would you please keep me in your prayers, particularly in these upcoming weeks? While I’m excited to be launching a book with Thomas Nelson, my emotions run wild at times. This book is intimate, it’s raw, and it’s real. And in just a few short weeks it will be out there for everyone.
My prayer is that God will equip me with strength for the journey. I ask for the humility to put myself aside so that He can shine through me. I pray that each and every woman who picks up this book will walk away feeling hungry for nothing but God.
I pray for the insecurities I have as a writer. I can’t write. I’m an English flunky. But another voice reminds me that I have a God who is ready and willing to equip those He calls. Lord help me to listen to that voice.
I’m just a cracked vessel held together by grace.
I’d appreciate your prayers. I know that each and every time I have a prayer team supporting me, I’m strengthened, refreshed, and equipped. I need that right now, more than anything.
