Psalm 156 – watercolor pencils

Before I share today’s post, I wanted to remind you all that I set up a Facebook page to share ideas and Bible journaling images. It’s an awesome community. Come and join us! And if you don’t have a journaling Bible you can get a little journal from the dollar store and doodle your verses in there (a lot of girls are doing that). If you’d like to buy one at Amazon, perhaps you might consider using this affiliate link. It doesn’t cost you anymore, but I’d like to offer some Bibles for giveaway from time to time (starting today), and I get a small referral commission from Amazon: KJV Journaling Bible This is the one I use. My favorite! There are other ones on Amazon too. So you might dig around a bit to find your favorite. The other tools I use are listed here, except for the acrylic paint (I don’t have that listed). So, I love this new technique of adding acrylic paint to color the page, BUT I know… I used to much. I tried everything to tone down the blue. Live and learn. Fischtales has amazing tutorials. And the dollar store has super affordable acrylic paint for beginners. It’s fun. But acrylics have to be watered down and used oh so sparingly. Like seriously sparingly. Here’s a link to her youtube channel: Fischtales Bible Journaling I just started drawing roses today and I love them!! They were so easy that I kept calling myself the rose queen. My daughter told me I had to stop. It was annoying. LOL (expect to see more roses!) I also drew a ship, which I realized should have been done on a way bigger canvas. You can hardly tell what it is.

Are you ready for a giveaway!

I’m giving away three KJV Jounaling Bibles! (one per winner). This is the same Bible you see in my Bible journaling images, BUT you have to color the images yourself. *wink*

It’s beautiful brown imitation leather. There are wide margins on every page, which are great for taking notes. So even if you aren’t a doodler, you can fill up the pages with thoughts!

You can enter to win one in two ways. One is to share a link to this post on Facebook, twitter, pinterest, or email, etc. And the second way is to join the Facebook group. Here’s the link again: Journaling Facebook Group

I’ll choose three winners and announce them here when the giveaway ends.

U.S. and Canada only please.

Congratulations to:
