The first thing I do when I get on an airplane is sleep. I like to sleep in cars too. In fact, as far back as I can remember I’ve been sleeping for most of the ride.
Maybe it’s the steady hum of the motor that lulls me to sleep, or perhaps it’s my faith in the driver. My guess is that it’s a combination of both.
So it is with life.
We’re on a journey in which we can either trust the pilot enough to rest in His wisdom and lean on His strength or we can struggle with unrest and doubt.
I’m choosing to rest, while the steady hum of the engine reminds me He’s near. I’m choosing to trust that the same faithful God who brought us this far will bring us much further yet.
