Leader’s Guide for Time-Warp Wife Bible Studies
Thank you for stepping up to lead!
Leading a Bible study doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. This guide is here to help you walk with confidence, grace, and a heart ready to serve.
Whether you’re gathering around a kitchen table, meeting in a church, or connecting online, your role matters more than you know. God often does some of His greatest work through willing hearts just like yours.
This guide will help you structure your meetings, prepare your heart, and lead your group with confidence and grace.
Our Bible studies are designed to be simple, flexible, and rich in Scripture. You don’t need to be a teacher or an expert—you simply need to love Jesus and love people.
Preparing Your Own Heart
Before you lead others, spend time with the Lord yourself.
Take a few quiet moments before each meeting to:
-
Pray for your group
-
Reflect on the chapter
-
Ask God for wisdom, humility, and a heart sensitive to His Spirit
Ministry flows out of what God is doing in your heart first.
Weekly Structure for Your Group
1. Personal Preparation at Home
Each participant should take their booklet home each week, read the assigned chapter, and answer the reflection questions before coming to the meeting.
Encourage your group to take time during the week to study thoughtfully.
Coming prepared helps everyone engage more deeply in the conversation, makes discussion richer, and helps the group grow together.
2. Open with Prayer
Begin each meeting with a simple prayer.
Invite the Holy Spirit to lead, open hearts, and guide your time together.
3. Scripture Focus
Each chapter highlights key passages of Scripture.
You can:
-
Read the passages aloud together, or
-
Summarize and highlight key verses to focus your discussion.
4. Watch the Video (if provided)
Many of our studies include a short video for each chapter.
You can find these videos on our YouTube channel at TimeWarpWife YouTube Channel.
Each video is designed to:
-
Highlight key points from the week’s study
-
Encourage deeper reflection
-
Prepare your group for meaningful discussion
After reading the Scripture, watch the video together as a group before moving into the discussion time.
(If your group meets online, you can share your screen or send the link ahead of time.)
5. Group Discussion
Use the questions provided in the study to guide your conversation.
You don’t have to answer every question—choose the ones that fit your group’s needs that week.
Your role is to be a facilitator, not a lecturer.
Create an environment where women feel safe to share what they learned during their week of study, reflect on Scripture, and encourage one another.
6. Weekly Challenge
Many of our studies include a Weekly Challenge at the end of each chapter.
If one is provided, invite the group to reflect on it together and encourage each other to apply it during the week.
If a challenge is not listed, feel free to create one yourself:
-
Memorizing a verse
-
Practicing a Christlike virtue
-
Applying a truth from the lesson in daily life
7. Prayer Requests and Closing Prayer
Allow time for prayer requests if your group is comfortable sharing.
End by praying together, thanking God for His Word, and asking Him to strengthen and guide each woman as she applies what she has learned.
Leading with Grace
As a leader, you set the tone for your group.
Here are a few reminders to help create a welcoming and Spirit-led environment:
-
Keep the Atmosphere Grace-Filled
There are no perfect answers. Focus on encouragement and kindness. -
Guard Confidentiality
What’s shared in the group should stay in the group. -
Be Sensitive to the Holy Spirit
Stay flexible. Let God lead the conversation if He opens doors for deeper connection or prayer. -
Model Openness and Vulnerability
Share personally when appropriate—it creates a safe space for others to open up too. -
Celebrate Progress, Not Perfection
Growth takes time. Remind your group that God’s work in us is ongoing.
A Final Word of Encouragement
You are planting seeds of eternal value.
Your faithfulness—even in the small moments—makes a difference.
As 1 Peter 4:10 reminds us:
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” (NIV)
Thank you for saying yes to His call.
We are praying for you and cheering you on!
