To Make Time for Each Other (Marriage Challenge – 31 Days of Prayer)
Thank you to Davonne Parks for providing us with today’s prayer!
I’ve been busy at the Allume conference and coming down with a cold, but God provided our words. Thank you again, Davonne.

Thank you Davonne, I loved this prayer as a reminder that our home should be a “safe-haven” from the world that we live in. Having the Lord as the center focal of our lives over anything or anyone other than him, has been the breath of life for the growth of bonding in our marriage. Our home has been wondrously taken over with the presence of God in all areas of our home, with the feeling of security, peace, love and nurturing that only comes from the guidance and direction of our Lord.

Thank YOU, Kelly, for your encouraging words! I’m so glad to hear that your home is centered around Christ.

This was a perfect reminder for me today. My husband and I had been taking some time to work on being safe for each other, and it has been interrupted with the birth of our third baby on Friday. Getting adjusted to a new normal with our two older kids and the baby has not left us much time or energy for just us. Even in the midst of new life adjustments, we still need to make “us” a priority and not get distracted even by things that are valid and important.

Becca, congratulations on your new baby! Having an infant doesn’t exactly make it easy to connect, but it sounds like you’re doing a great job of being intentional about making connection a priority.
