Hey, ladies! I am beyond thrilled to welcome you on this beautiful journey. Over the next eight weeks, we’ll take a deep dive into “The 7 Virtues of a Proverbs 31 Woman.” We’ll immerse ourselves in God’s word, draw on His timeless wisdom, and invite His transformative power into our lives. Virtues like Inner Beauty, Selflessness, Kindness, Resilience, Wisdom, Diligence, and Godliness will be our guideposts. Whether you’re pursuing this experience alone or within a group, I promise you, this journey will be a life-changer.

Welcome Karissa

My dear friend Karissa, who is simply amazing, will be leading us through this journey with her insightful and engaging videos. Over the next eight weeks, she will bring “The 7 Virtues of a Proverbs 31 Woman” to life in a way that only she can. I know you’re going to love her spirit, her wisdom, and her way of making Scripture come alive.

If you have any trouble viewing the video, you can find it on YouTube: Click here.

One of the things I love about Karissa doing these videos is how she is able to encourage us in areas I may have otherwise missed. One thing she mentioned this week was a verse from Hebrews 12:1-3 which says,

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. (NIV)

I love the comparison she made there, between one’s spiritual journey and that of a runner focused on the track ahead. In the same way that a runner relies on the painted lines of the track to guide his way, we rely on the guidance of God revealed through His Word. Guidelines designed to purify us and lead us safely through life. In other words, they’re like painted lines on our track of faith.

Maybe you’re looking at this and telling yourself that a Proverbs 31 study sounds like another to-do list. Maybe you’re wondering just how lofty and far-reaching the expectations will be. It’s understandable to feel this way, especially when we’re juggling so many responsibilities. And so, I want to invite you to set your own pace. It’s not a race to finish the chapters, it’s about chapters that help you finish your race.

Lastly, I want to point out one other thing that Karissa shared this week.

“I want to challenge us as women to set our eyes on Christ,” she said. “Even when we fall short, He is capable of doing far more than we could ask or even imagine. So don’t lose heart. We can do this together as sisters.”

You are loved by an Almighty God,
