There’s a silver lining in every dark cloud, but we’re likely to miss it if we’re not looking up. If we’re not focused on God and trusting in Him how could we possibly find any peace in this world?

David knew the beauty of leaning on God when in Psalm 121 he wrote, “He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber.” (verse 3)

We live in uncertain times, as we’re left wondering what tomorrow will bring–unsure if things will get worse. And yet, we serve an unchanging God. We need only look up when we’re feeling down. He’s the same God today as He was yesterday–the same faithful God that He will be tomorrow.

Planting Hope

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber. (Psalm 121:1-3, NIV)
