Daily Devotion – He Equips Those He Calls

God uses the broken, He offers grace to the sinner, and He equips those He calls. If He has called you to it, He will see you through it.

Don’t let your “but” keep you from doing God’s work. Remember David was just a boy when he killed the giant. Moses was slow of speech when he led the Exodus out of Egypt. Abraham was too old to have children when Isaac was born. Paul was a well-known sinner putting Christians to death when God called Him to bring salvation to the Gentiles.

God used the weak and the sinful to show the mercy and power of His saving grace.

Darlene Schacht and her husband Michael live in Manitoba Canada where the summers are beautiful and the winters are cold. Together they’ve come to learn that relationships aren’t always easy, but that marriage, the way God intended it to be, is a treasure worth fighting for.

It was also during this transition that she worked alongside actress Candace Cameron Bure to write the NYT Best-Selling book, Reshaping it All: Motivation for Spiritual and Physical Fitness. Reshaping it All was the winner of both the 2011 USA Best Book Awards and the 2012 Christian Reading Retailers Choice Awards.

    Actually was thinking on the exact thing you wrote on. We are missionaries and so often people will say, oh I wish had your strong faith or wish I was brave enough to do what you do. I try to tell them, it does not take a strong person to do what ever God ask them to do. It takes a weak person with a strong God. I cannot count the times I have been afraid, worried, did not trust the Lord, yet He continues to use me. He is strong, I am weak, thats all it takes.
