Hey ladies! I’d love to invite you to join me for this year’s Christmas Bible study, The Golden Thread: Tracing the Promise of the Coming Messiah.
Christmas is a beautiful time to celebrate the birth of our Savior, but the story of His coming began long before that night in Bethlehem. From the very first promise in Genesis to the prophecies of the Old Testament, we’ll discover how God was preparing the way for the coming Messiah.
Over the course of 28 days, we’ll follow that promise through Scripture, exploring familiar passages, discovering meaningful connections between the Old and New Testaments, and seeing how God’s plan of redemption points us to Jesus Christ.
As the Christmas season approaches, I hope you’ll take some time each day to open your Bible and discover the beauty of God’s promises and His faithfulness in fulfilling them.

What if the Christmas story began long before Bethlehem? Long before the shepherds heard the angels sing, before the wise men followed the star, and before Mary held the Christ Child in her arms, God had already promised that a Savior would come.
That promise began in the Garden of Eden, where God offered hope in the midst of man’s sin. From there, it continued through the lives of the patriarchs, the history of Israel, and the words of the prophets, each pointing toward the coming Messiah.
The Golden Thread traces that promise through the pages of Scripture, revealing remarkable connections between the Old and New Testaments. From Abraham’s beloved son to the Passover lamb, from the throne of David to the manger in Bethlehem, we’ll see how God’s promises find their fulfillment in Jesus Christ.
And our journey won’t end at the manger. We’ll follow the promise to the cross, the empty tomb, and the glorious hope of His return.

My hope is that as we journey through these 28 days together, we’ll slow down long enough to experience the depth of God’s faithful, sacrificial, transforming, and eternal love—and rediscover the true beauty of Christmas.
