Hey Besties! It’s been a long time, hasn’t it? I’ve missed you all, and I’m ready to get back in the Word with you girls.
With that said, I’m excited to finally announce the details of our next Bible study: Jacob: Pursuing God with Steadfast Faith & Unyielding Courage.
This will be the longest study we’ve ever done, which is why it took me a bit longer to write it. It’s 11 chapters, but I’m hoping we get through them all in 7 weeks.
I’ve spoken to Karissa, and she’ll be back to lead us through this study before the baby is born, which is an absolute blessing for me!!
Initially, I had other ideas in mind, but I kept feeling a pull toward Jacob until I finally realized that God had something wonderful in store for us there. Before this study, I merely saw Jacob as an interesting story nestled between others that stood out to me more. It’s almost as if the depth of his story was hidden during the many times I breezed through it.
It wasn’t until I devoted myself to studying his life in its entirety that I began to appreciate the full scope of his spiritual journey. In fact, it wasn’t until the last chapter that I saw it all come full circle and deeply understood the importance of the events and the way they’re laid out in Genesis.
As we go through his life story, chapter by chapter, we’ll see God’s plan of salvation, Christ’s work on the cross, and lessons rich in life application.
I’m so excited to share this journey with you.
