I’m enjoying a little R&R this month, so I might not be posting quite as frequently as I normally do.
In fact, I just got back from a road trip with the family! Michael and I took the three youngest kids all the way from Winnipeg up to Banff. There was a huge surprise for me in Calgary when our oldest son, Brendan, flew down to join us. I had no idea he was planning to come, and since our jeep only seats five he made secret plans to fly out there. It was awesome.
I hope I’m not boring you too much if I share a few pics? They’re not in any particular order. I kept losing the formatting, so I gave up. *smile*

Beautiful photos … and no, not even a little boring!! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I loved reading your post today from R&R. The photo are just spectacular. You are so blessed to have such a beautiful family. Keep up the great work you are doing for the Lord. It inspires me.
Thank you, Suzanne!
Lovely photos. I love that Rocky mountain drive, with all the gorgeous lakes and peaks. Every time we drive through them I get that same feeling of wonder and awe. God makes beautiful things! Thanks for sharing. : )
Loved your pictures and your blog.
Oh wow, that view of Lake Louise!!! I live in Australia (in the tropical north), so those snow capped mountains are incredible! Looks like you’re having a beautiful holiday with your family, it’s so lovely to spend time with those we love, isn’t it? God bless you Darlene xxx
I’m not a fan of snow. But I can live with, as long as it’s up on the mountain. LOL 😉
I’m so glad that you are getting some R&R and family time. It is something we all need to do, but too often feel guilty for. Enjoy your time. We’ll be here waiting for your posts as they come!
Love Banff and Calgary, right in my back yard so to speak. Going there with hubby for a little getaway, too. Looks like you missed the forest fire around the Banff area. And Lake Louise is always stunning, no matter the weather!
A forrest fire? I didn’t even hear about it. That’s too bad. Enjoy your time with hubby!
Beautiful!
I especially love the 2nd and last pictures.
I’m so jealous right now! I absolutely LOVE horses and the cuties in your pic’s are soo, so sweet (especially the laughing one, haha). Would be awesome, if you posted some more photos.
Have a good vacation!
Have some great R&R Darlene!
