This time around I have different types of printables for you. Since I included questions in the study guide (FREE study guide further down this page), I didn’t see a need to repeat them on cards. Instead I’m offering you some tools that I think will be a great asset to the study. The character analysis sheet gives you a place to write down things you’re learning about each person. The Exodus map will help you visualize the journey from Egypt, through the Red Sea and onto Mount Sinai. There are also scripture cards at the bottom of the page. Next Monday I’ll have something different again–something that will prompt you to dig deep.
How do I participate in this study?
It’s simple. If you haven’t done so already, download a copy of the FREE Bible study guide. You’ll find the download further down this page.
During the week, you’ll study at home, following the outline of the study guide. You can study alone or with a group of friends–well suited for either.
Visit my facebook page where I’ll share my study notes each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. In addition to that, I’ll be posting the daily gratitude prompts so we can celebrate together!
Come here to the blog on Mondays and Fridays. On Mondays I post new resources for the week, and on Fridays I post a recap of the week.

Love, Love the new printouts that were included with this study!! I have done each study and love them all! Thank you for all the hard work you put into each one!!
This is my favorite study of all time. Thank you for the time you invest in your bible studies. You are the best and loved by us all. We are so blessed.
Thank you so much!
I am so excited about this study. I just read through the first chapter of Exodus and can’t believe how much there is in the first chapter that speaks to my Christian walk. So thankful for your dedication and desire to share with others.
Glad to hear you’re excited! Same here!
Thank You for all of your hard work! I so enjoy using your materials to aid in my quiet time with the LORD! I enjoy the coloring, scripture cards and study topics. I find myself thinking through the study all through the day and night which tells me that the Holy Spirit is at work in bringing home the truths presented in your studies. I tell my friends about your journals all the time. My day doesn’t feel started if I don’t spend time in them.
I will continue to pray for your ministry and the glory it brings to our Father. God bless you and yours.
Joyful In Him,
Awesome! Thank you so much!
I love your studies and the marriage prayers. I just wish and stimulate you to make them in Spanish for my Spanish speakers sisters. Thank you for you hard work and constant love for the word of God.
So excited! I received my book over the weekend but had no time to sit down and look at it and then came to the blog today to find all these goodies! A few years ago I went through a long journey writing something I was thankful for daily. For the last several months I have gotten out of the habit and see such a change in my mindset and heart-attitude and not for the good. So thankful for this Bible study and your out of the box thinking on how to engage us! Can’t wait to sit down tonight and actually dive in!
I’m glad I am too. I’m having to spend hours and hours each week in the Bible just preparing for these. It’s so good!
I would like to see the scripture cards all available soon, if possible, so I can laminate them all at once and not have to keep dragging my laminater out…love your studies, that they are free, and that they look so nice I am encouraged to get to them daily!
How appropriate that we take the time to study gratitude as we lead up to the Holidays. So often we get caught up in the motions of making everything postcard perfect and forget to slow down and enjoy families and friends coming together, our blessings and the reason we gather. Thank you for this study and reminding us that there is always something to be thankful for even I. Our darkest days.
Thank you so much! I am already loving this study and it’s only day 2. I know you have a ton on your plate but would you possibly consider creating a children’s study to go coinside with one of your “regular” studies one day?
I love that idea. My daughter and I have talked about it. I think it’s something we’d like to see happen next year hopefully.
I am a day late beginning this study. But as I was reading familiar verses, I have found myself wondering about the type of person each one was. I have formed opinions about some, others are still open. I can see God working through many already! Of course I have had to block the movie scenes out of my head at times….. Those movies always have fluff and filler in them anyway! I just wanted to let you know how much I’m enjoying this study. Now on to todays studies! Thank you and I pray continued blessings for you and your family.
Hugs n Prayers,
Good point! I haven’t seen the 10 Commandments in years. I’ll wait until after the study to watch again. LOL
I just realized you live in Manitoba! I live a little further north…Inuvik, NWT. Thanks for these great studies!
So cool! Glad you’re enjoying the studies.
Story if my life I am thanking God for the far that he has brought me and the far he is takibg am a single mum of a 15month old baby boy,and thanking him for my son who was my eye opener who made me want to drw close to God and bring him up according to the bibke, who made me be born again.its not been easy because have been labelled a witch simply because my grandma practices witch craft and am named after her,so my mum thinks am the next in line and she actually told me that my pregnancy was a devil engineered plan to stagnate my life and my breastfeeding difficulties due to my flat nipples was a plan for my son to die and be a sacrifice to the devil from my grandma, actually have been accused of so many things including my aunties and uncles colon cancer as a way of killing them because I have already sold them to the devil,FYI they are still alive i have suffered psychological torture, depression that she refused to get me medication, poverty of the highest level.Basically if I can describe my life in one word it would be pathetic at the moment because I have withdrawn from the university my mums wishes she has no money and plus the devil is at the university waiting for me to go back so the best way is to avoid that university and that city and I greatly disagree but if I tell her my views she tells me that its the devil talking,I have no money,my classmates are all in happy jobs actually they have moved out there parents homes and they are moving on to other things,my sister who is graduating next year am happy for her but the fact that she is younger and has managed to complete school will be used to torture me for I don’t know how long?basically am so tired of my life right know and what I pray for every day is for God to make a way provide for me the finances that I need to get out of my mums place for the sake of my sanity.I know I am achild of God and am no devil worshiper but this grandma blood line link that I have is being used against me despite the fact that I never choose to be her namesake and I never choose her to be my grand ma yes she might have done rituals on my innocent body as a child but did I consent to it No I am a born a gain christian who does not want to be involved with such people. As I say I am thankful to God for fighting my spiritual battles and praying endlessly for a financial breakthrough,I thank God for you Darlene you don’t know how many young mothers like me you inspire today being a favorite memory honestly I have none and I don’t want that for my son keep me in your prayers
Wow. You are facing a lot of tough challenges! I pray that God will strengthen you through this and bring solid Christians into your life to encourage you.
Thanks for this study & all the resources – I’ve just gotten started today!
I just wanted to say Thank You for this study…I have been a fan of Jesus all of my life but just recently I decided O want to be a follower and I have been researching studies and things and I came across your and read the first one and soon found out that it is just what I am looking for…I just wanna sit and do all of it at once lol, I have never been a person to read the word but you guide makes it easy to break it down…Thank you for all of this, I can’t wait to work on Friday…cause I already did today and tomorrow’s lol ??
Awesome!! I’m glad you like them. 😀
I am so thankful to have come across you, your studies, your links, etc. I am in agreement about wanting a ‘tag along’ type bible study for kids. My 10yr old granddaughter wants my gratitude journal, I copied a few pages for her, and she is so enjoying filling it out and wants to share it with her 2 friends. We have also enjoyed coloring the pictures together & discussing the scripture associated with it.
I also am enjoying the bible study for myself. Do to my work schedule & other responsibilities I can’t delve into the study daily, so daily I have been reading the scriptures and then setting aside a block of time on my day off to break it down and research the extras.
Jana, I’m so glad you found us and that you discovered ways to get your granddaughter involved! That’s awesome!
Darlene
We are doing this study but I have a question, well a few! Will the study only go through Exodus 15 or will you continue to add more to the study guide, it only printed through Exodus 15 and looking at the “Week at a Glance” for weeks 1 & 2 it looks as though after 30 days we will only be at Exodus 15. I am trying to get a time line and know if we will complete Exodus or just do 1 through 15.
We are really excited to see how God uses your study to move in the ladies in our church! I have bought many books and journals of yours over the last few years and absolutely love your heart and love for our Father! Thank you for following the calling that and sharing the gifts that He has given to you!
This is part one of a two part study. Because Christmas is coming, I’m hosting Quieting Your Heart for the Holidays in a couple of weeks, and then we’ll pick up the rest of Exodus in the new year. I hope that makes sense.
Yes, totally and that is exactly what I plan for our group of ladies as well. Can not wait!! Thank you for your help and information!
I am going to use this Bible study with the ladies at my church. I have the Bible study printed but where do I find the weekly verse and character analysis and coloring pages for the following weeks? Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you so much!!
