The Extraordinary Blessing of an Ordinary Life
Wrapping Up and Looking Ahead…
Ladies, this marks the final post in our 8-week exploration of the Proverbs 31 woman. Your engagement and insights have truly enriched this spiritual adventure, and so I thank you for joining me on it. However, this is not the end. It’s merely a stepping stone to our next adventure.
Let’s meet here again in two weeks, on July 25th, to embark on our new study, “Discovering Christ in the Story of Esther.” To prepare for this new study, you can pick up a copy of the journal on Amazon. Tell your family about this, and tell your friends, because I promise you they won’t want to miss it.
Karissa is coming back once again to do videos for us, and we both look forward to diving into the Scriptures with you once again! Have a great two weeks, y’all! Bye for now. 🙂
** Please note: This study is not the same as the one we have done in the past. This is a brand new study with far more content than the original book. There is so much more to unpack in this study, and I can’t wait to unpack it with you!

My Closing Thoughts on Godliness
In this week’s video, Karissa gently reminded us of a truth she’s come to cherish in her daily life as a stay-at-home mom to two little ones. Her days, filled with what seems like an endless rotation of tasks – changing diapers, cleaning, cooking, doing laundry – are not burdens but rather blessings in disguise.
In the tapestry of ordinary days, extraordinary opportunities are woven in, inviting us to cultivate character, echo God’s love, and sculpt our souls into the divine image of Christ. As odd as it might sound, everyday chores like washing dishes, making supper, and putting children to bed are divine invitations to exercise patience, to cultivate kindness, to serve others in love, to discover joy, to find peace, to manifest gentleness, to radiate goodness, to exhibit long-suffering, and to grow in our faith.
And, how do we cultivate this faith-focused mindset? It begins by viewing our days regardless of how average they may feel at times, as opportunities to grow in Christ-likeness. It’s about embracing every task as an opportunity to reflect God’s love and grow just a little bit more.
A Proverbs 31 woman is praised, not for her physical beauty or charm, but for her godliness. She’s diligent, kind, generous, and hardworking. Importantly, these qualities aren’t tied to her tasks but rather her character.
Each one of you, in your own unique way, embodies the essence of a Proverbs 31 woman. Your daily chores are not just chores but divine opportunities to develop your character and grow in the image of Christ.
You are loved by an almighty God,
Darlene Schacht
