Hi girls! I’m so excited to finally have our next Bible study for you–Hebrews Bible Study: Jesus Christ: King, Redeemer, High Priest This study is so in-depth that it took me a while to put together. There was definitely a lot of reading, rereading and digging on my part before I was ready to let this one leave my desk.

The book encourages us to grow, to press on in the face of affliction, and to grab hold of the gospel which we had been taught.

From front to back, it explains Who Christ is, what He’s done, and why He’s better than any earthly high priest.

It’s definitely a good study for those who are looking for a deeper understanding of salvation. It answers important questions, like “Why was it necessary for Christ to die for our sins?” “What is the significance of the Temple veil being torn in two at the moment of His death?” and “Why is there no longer a need sacrifices year after year?”

For those of you who want to purchase the study guide, it’s available now at Amazon (click here to go there). Inside the journal you’ll find:

  • Study questions for each chapter
  • Interesting facts and background information
  • Study Tips
  • Pretty illustrations
  • And more…

If you aren’t buying a study guide, you can definitely join in on the study with us as I’ll be providing free resources for you each week.

This will be a four-week study beginning April 8th and ending May 3rd. Each week I’ll provide you with questions that cause you to dig into scripture and gain a deeper understanding of God’s word. I’ll also provide you with my thoughts and some insight on each chapter.

Unlike the other studies I’ve had, I won’t be offering an alternative study guide. You’ll still be getting the same information that I would provide in the guide, but you’ll have to come back to the blog each week for your next assignment. It’s my hope that in doing this I’ll encourage readers to stay connected while keeping the content fresh.

For those who purchase the study guide, you won’t have to download the questions each week, but you will want to return here. I’ll have updates every Friday during the study where I share my answers to the questions.

Okay, so click through to Amazon to get your study guide Hebrews Bible Study: Jesus Christ: King, Redeemer, High Priest. Then come back here to the blog on April 8th to get started with that study! 🙂

This delightful and inspiring journal takes you on an exploration through the book of Hebrews. Insight, encouragement, and thought-provoking questions motivate you to dig deeper into scripture and hold fast to your faith.

The words “better,” “greater,” and “more” appear frequently throughout Hebrews as the author sets out to show the reader that Christ is better than the angels, higher than the priests, and greater than any Old Testament prophet. The new covenant through the blood of Jesus Christ is superior in every way to that under the Levitical law.

This literary masterpiece encourages us to grow, to press on in the face of affliction, and to grab hold of the gospel which we have been taught. From front to back, it explains who Christ is, what He’s done, and why He’s the only way to salvation.

The journal is designed to be used alongside the online study I’m hosting here on the blog, and is ideal for both personal use and small groups.

I am SO EXCITED to start this study!! April 8th seems so far away. LOL!! I’ve been looking for a good Hebrews bible study and am so grateful that Darlene is providing this for us! I’ve been a faithful follower and have done every bible study that Darlene has done. (Yes, we’re on a first name basis now because of the years I’ve been following her…even though she doesn’t know me. LOL!!) Many prayers for you, Darlene, as you start us on this journey through the book of Hebrews! Much love to you and yours!

    Darlene,
I’ve been anxiously waiting for this study to be available. Thank you so much for all the time and heart you put into all your studies. God bless!

  • Andrea

Do you have a sample on this study? We are trying to pick our end of summer start of fall bible study!

  • Deidre

I would like to join this study, however, I don’t use Facebook, Instagram, or any of those social meeting sites. Other studies I’ve wanted need the person to participate in these, so I’ve missed out on many good studies

I purchased two of these study guides, one for my daughter, and one for myself. I am excited to get started. Thank you for the lovely opportunity to get into Gods word and study with you. The study guide is beautiful.

I am looking forward to this study of the book of Hebrews! My husband is at home and will be for a year or more due to a serious work injury he received Dec 26th, so we are going to do it together!! Unfortunately I can’t get the study guide this time, but we will be in here printing off the questions and resources for sure. Living on Workers comp has been a challenge for sure, but my husband survived an accident doctors say he shouldn’t have. (God allowed an EMT and an ER doctor to bring him back twice) My hubby says “I guess God has more for me to do”! Yes He does! He has a long road of recovery to be able to walk again, but he knows God is with him all the way!!
Thank you Darlene for all your time and work you put into Bible Studies for us!! I learn so much from each one!! God bless you!!

Thank you again Darlene for making your wonderful Bible Studies available to us. You are amazing! I’ve read and studied my Bible over the years, but never have I found a “study” presented so completely the way you do yours. I’m far from completing them all, but have learned so much through those I have (Exodus, Esther, Ruth, Luke). Currently my church is in Philippians, so that’s where I’m at, but excited to start your new study in Hebrews soon. Thank you and God bless!

I am excited to start this but how do we get the free resources if we are not buying the book? I did not see a link as referenced in the email.

    HI
As some of us live very far over the ocean.. Is it possible to purchase and have downloadable version in pdf. If I have to order through Amazon it will take months to reach my country. Our postal service is not reliable.

    Looking forward to your reply.

This is exactly what i needed. Im going through some tough personal issues and in the past i order 2 of your journals. And i unfortunately drifted away. The past week has been the hardest and i just got down on my knees and asked for God to point me to something to help. And you came into my head. Im kinda late since it is Friday. I was wondering if i start can i still participate and ask questions? Doing this alone dosent work for me. I think being able to talk to other would help me so much better. I cant order the journal at this time but i do have a printer. My bible got lost with the rest of my belongings but im living in a hotel and they have a very new bible in it. Is there any way we can personally talk?
